Skin films are produced by extrusion of various polyolefin resins and have been developed as top (lidding) films for vacuum skin packaging. They can be used to close PE, PET, PP, PS and PVC trays with or without PE liners. Thanks to the EVOH layer, PAKSKIN films are able to guarantee a high barrier to gases (oxygen, water vapor) and keep the freshness of packaged food without MAP
- High impact resistance
- Good gloss and transparency
- Excellent puncture and tear resistance
- Wide temperature range application
- Very good drop retention, even on PP, PS and PE, which means that liquids do not move inside the packaging
These films are made from raw materials in accordance with European Union standards regarding contact with food. More detailed information is available on request.
